International Women’s Day

Every March 8th, Maharashtra State ASHA, Block Facilitators and Health Workers Union commemorate International Women’s Day. On this significant day, we celebrate with special programs and initiatives, including discussions, workshops, and guest speakers. Our aim is to celebrate the achievements of women and advocate for gender equality, empowering our members to become agents of positive change in society

Savitribai Phule Jayanti

We proudly celebrate Mata Savitribai Phule Jayanti on January 3rd, honoring the remarkable contributions of this pioneering figure in women’s education and social reform. Recognized as India’s first female teacher and a champion of women’s rights, her legacy inspires us to continue her mission of empowerment through education and social equality. On this day, we honor her enduring commitment to justice and progress for all.

Dr. B.R Ambedkar Jayanti

Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the Father of the Indian Constitution and esteemed civil rights activist of India.  Every April 14th at Maharashtra State ASHA, Block Facilitators and Health Workers Union, we observe Ambedkar Jayanti. This day pays tribute to his enduring legacy and vision of a fair and inclusive society, inspiring us to continue his journey towards social justice and equality, upholding the rights and dignity of every individual.

Independence Day

Every 15th of August, Maharashtra State ASHA, Block Facilitators and Health Workers Union host a memorable Independence Day program. Our president proudly hoists the national flag, we join in singing the anthem and performing patriotic songs and dances. Sweet treats add to the festivities, creating a cherished day filled with pride and joy as we honor our nation’s freedom and unity.

Republic Day

On the 26th of January, we commemorate Republic Day, marking the adoption of our constitution. We proudly hoist the national flag, instilling patriotic fervor, and organize a small program where local people join us in celebration. It’s a day of pride and unity, honoring the principles that uphold our nation’s democracy and sovereignty.
